The Air Jordan 1 Mid GS "University Blue/Black" is the youth sizing of the colorway of the popular shoe with a mostly two-tone look. The “University Blue” theme is loosely inspired by Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina, as the light blue hue nods to the primary color found on the jerseys of the school’s athletic teams. As for the design, the colorway features a black leather construction with University Blue leather overlays and Swoosh branding on the sides. A “Wings” logo appears on the collar and a Jumpman is seen on the tongue tag. The white rubber midsole and University Blue-colored rubber outsole complete the look. Release date: May 1, 2023
